Abstract Hansi Share, creator of the Monica Doll, was a Jewish emigre to the United States from Germany. In Germany, she was married to Hermann Ploschitzki, co-owner of Karstadt, a German department store chain, who died in 1932. She was subsequently married to Julius Wilhem Fehr, and then Leon Share, who sponsored her emigration to the United States. After her emigration, she designed and created the Monica Doll, which was notable as the first doll to use real human hair implanted in the head. ...

This collection consists of lectures, articles, newspaper clippings, correspondences, photographs, and other papers on film montage editors John Hoffman and Slavko Vorkapich compiled by film preservationist David Shepard. Hoffman and Vorkapich created two visual tone poems together. The second of which, "Forest Murmurs" (1947), was restored by David Shepard in 2004.

This collection contains the papers of the Soler family, a Mexican family of actors, chiefly focused on the theatrical and film work of Andres Soler (1898-1969) and his goddaughter actor Gloria Jordan (born circa 1924). Materials chiefly consist of newspaper and magazine press clippings, theatrical programs, and many photographs of the family, both personal images and publicity photographs.
