Photograph album of earthquake damage in Santa Barbara after earthquake of June 29, 1925. The album opens with photographs of steel frame buildings in Tokyo after a 1923 earthquake and ends with photographs of the collapse of the Hotel Vincent in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The sequence of photographs illustrates "A Warning" given in the first photograph, a poem that extols the virtues of steel frame buildings in preventing earthquake damage.
