Scope and Contents

This collection consists of American script supervisor Stanley K. Scheuer's (1900-1983) scrapbooks, photographs, newspaper clippings, playbills, magazines, and lists of films he worked on. Included are scripts, notebooks, and pressbook pertaining to Cleopatra (1963); 5 annotated shooting scripts including The Country Girl (1954), I Want To Live! (1958), and Von Ryan's Express (1965); approximately 60 movie magazines (1912-1932); publicity booklets for United Artists and Fox Film Corp. (1930-1931); 1 scrapbook of publicity clippings for many silent films; and miscellaneous film clippings.

Stanley K. Scheuer (1900-1983) was an American script supervisor from the 1930s to the 1960s. He worked on films including "West Side Story" (1961), "Al Capone" (1959), "Cleopatra" (1963), and the television series "The Addams Family" from 1965-1966.
