This photograph album consists of photographs of actors and actresses, many in theatrical costume and posies, as well as photographs of stage sets with actors. The actors, actresses and productions are unidentified.
A Midsummer Night's Dream scrapbook
A limited-run scrapbook produced for individuals such as studio head Jack Warner documenting the production of Max Reinhardt's film adaptation of Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The leather-bound scrapbook contains more than 200 original black-and-white glossy photos from the film along with scene descriptions below each picture, a cast of players, and reviews of the film reproduced from newspaper clippings.

This collection primarily consists of undeveloped negatives, snapshots, prints, and correspondence by Los Angeles native photographer Cliff Hall (1925-2020), which appear chiefly to date from the 1950s to early 2000s. The images reflect photo shoots and candid images made by Hall of society and cultural events and often document Los Angeles’ Black community.
