This small collection contains approximately 30 handwritten and typescript letters in Spanish from Argentine-French writer Julio Cortázar (1914-1984), dating between 1950 and 1960. Recipients include Alberto M. Salas and Dorita and Jorge Vila Ortiz.

Ed Cray papers
Ed Cray (b. 1933) is a veteran journalist and associate professor of journalism at USC. The collection includes Volumes 1-18 (1949-67) of the liberal West Coast political weekly/monthly Frontier Magazine, edited by Phil Kerby. Cray often wrote for the publication. Also included are posters, photographs by Cray, and notes, typescripts and correspondence on Cray's publications, California politics and American foreign policy.

These include a 50th anniversary reunion book of Crystal City Internment Camp and a book by Mr. Furukochi written and illustrated by hand during his internment in Santa Fe, New Mexico that he gifted to Taro George Masuda.
