USC Dames records
The University of Southern California Dames is a chapter of The National Association of University Dames. The USC chapter was formed for the wives of graduate students in 1934 with the help of Dr. Mary Sinclair Crawford, then the Dean of Women. Included in this small collection is a copy of the USC chapter's Constitution and By-Laws, information about the history of the Dames, and an official Executive Board gavel inscribed 1961-'62.
