Abstract
The collection consists of display samples of Latino, Chicano, lowrider and gangbanger t-shirt designs, decals, patches, and cards from the 1980s to the 1990s. Some of the designs were supplied by Francisco's Exotic T's, Photo-Lith International, and SSI. Many of the designs draw on gang-related street art forms--tattoo flash and graffiti placas. This collection contains papers documenting the activities of Joseph Roos (1905-1999) from his retirement from the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation Council in 1969 until his death in 1999. These papers include correspondence, research files, memoranda and publications. Some documentation of Roos's earlier activities investigating the activities of the German Bund in Los Angeles in the 1930s is also present.

The Osborne-Montague family papers contains the papers of multiple generations of the Osborne and Montague families, as well as of the families they married into (primarily the Tingstads and the Caleffs). Rodney Montague moved to Los Angeles in 1853, while Henry Zenas Osborne moved to the area in 1878.
