Warren L. Steinberg papers
The papers of Warren L. Steinberg date from 1944 to 1998 with the bulk of the materials dating from 1966 to 1997. The papers focus on Steinberg's involvement with the City of Los Angeles Human Relations Commission, an organization that Steinberg was involved with until his death in 2004.
Catherine G. Stern papers
Catherine G. Stern was a social activist for civil and human rights. The papers contain correspondence, administrative papers, reports, and publications from the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, the Community Relations Conference of Southern California, the U. S. Commission on Civil Rights, and other civic, educational, and artistic organizations with which Stern was involved.
Mary Stoddard Florence Crittenton Home papers
Letters, photographs, ephemera and a large scrapbook created and collected by Mary ("Mollie") Stoddard, president of the Los Angeles Florence Crittenton Home in the 1920s. The papers document the Home, and Mollie's personal and philanthropic pursuits. Mary ("Mollie") Wilcox Stoddard (later Mary Wilcox Hurd) was born in Placerville, CA in 1870. Mollie was a long time supporter and president of the Los Angeles Florence Crittenton Home.

Photographs, correspondence, ephemera pertaining to the history of Western Air Lines (Western Air Express). Charles N. James (a.k.a. James James, Jimmy James) flew the first Air mail run with Fred Kelly from Salt Lake to LA in seven hours, in 1926. He was a pilot for Western Air Express and later Vice-President in charge of operations at Western Airlines (1938-1950). He then became Security Manager with Bendix West Coast Division.
