This subseries comprises correspondence, memoranda, maps, aerial photographs, military orders, field notebooks, newsletters, surveys and other material relating to Call's service in World War II and the Army Reserves. While on active duty, he received infantry training and became company commander for an infantry battalion. Following the war, he served in the Organized Reserve Corps in Missouri and Colorado until 1952.
