Biographical / Historical

Mike Moreno is an artist and activist who has been a volunteer manager and director for a number of AIDS and LGBTQ+ non-profit groups, including LA Shanti and The Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt. He was also a part of VIVA, a non-profit artists’ coalition founded in 1987, promoted the creative and artistic talent of LGBT Latinos and Latinas in L.A.

Moreno currently lives in Belen, New Mexico
