Scope and Content of Collection

Clippings arranged in binder sleeves and pasted into a sketchbook along with 10 drawings and 1 gouache painting. The clippings are primarily of nude male and to lesser extent nude female images,along with erotic cartoons from magazine and newspapers. The collection also includes a certificate for service awarded to Powers from the Gladiator Motorcycle Club.

Biography

Little is known about Powers. He may have used a pseudonym Mark or Murray and he was awarded a certificate for extraordinary service and devotion by the Gladiator Motorcycle Club in 1970.
