Scope and Contents
The subseries consist of black and white negative and contact strips of travel in Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, West Indies, and Cuba; visits to residences in New York City, Reading, Vermont (Sunstone), Fire Island, and St. Croix; and unidentified social events and beach gatherings of Miller, friends, and family, 1944-1968. The materials also include Sam Wagstaff images, images of ceramics and sculptures, nudes, and an image of Gore Vidal. Not all rolls are complete. The subseries primarily consists of negatives with a few contact strips as noted. Titles and numbering have been pulled directly from descriptions included with the negatives and contact strips. Unidentified content is labeled as such.
