Scope and Contents
The series conists of photographs and audiocassettes documenting Sandifer's personal and professional life from 1948-1995. Personal photographs include images of Sandifer's childhood, friends and family, and military service during the Korean War. Photographs relating to his professional life include images of his official appearances and of special events such as same-sex weddings and fundraising drag shows. The audiocassettes predominantly consist of recordings of interviews and memorial services.
