The PWA series, 1961-1996, documents the organization's administrative history; the affiliations and resources utilized to provide and support the organization's services; and the services provided to those with AIDS-related illnesses and needs. Administrative records include quarterly reports, AIDS research reports, correspondence, grant applications, travel vouchers, last will and testament documents, and funding applications. Affiliation and resource records document PWA collaborations with external organizations and include conference notes and literature, AIDS research publications, and obituaries. Service records include AIDS hotline information, contracts, AIDS survey reports, legal assistance, and zoning information.
