Series Scope and Content Summary
This series contains subject and chronological files. A number of the subject files were created by Lombardi and Nash; the identity of the creator of a particular file is indicated when this is know. The remaining subject files were created by ONE Archives staff from materials found unfoldered but together. The files include correspondence, clippings, photocopies, brochures, and notes. Subjects of particular interest include AIDS, the Gay Holocaust, and police harassment. Lombardi and Nash also created extensive files documenting all programs of GLBT interest broadcast on Los Angeles-area television. Several of the chronological files for 1984 and 1985 were created by Lombardi and Nash; the remaining files were created by ONE Archives staff from materials found loose in the collection without apparent context. The files include flyers, newsletters, postcards, brochures, solicitations, and other materials of an impersonal nature. The materials relate to a wide variety of Los Angeles-area GLBT businesses, social and political organizations, bars, events, and publications, and indicate the extent of Lombardi and Nash's involvement in the local GLBT community.
