Scope and Contents
Box 2 contains a scrapbook album of memorabilia pertaining to "Max Rheinhardt’s New York Repertory Season, 1927-1928" presented to Reinhardt by writer and director S. Jay Kaufman (1866-1957). The album containing photographs, programs, brief letters from individuals accepting the request to have their names on the "Committee of the Theatre," and caricature drawings of members of the repertory by Henry Major.
