This binder includes many reviews, critiques, and articles about What Makes Sammy Run? (1941), its theater, musical, television and movie performances, Budd Schulberg's inspiration for the book, and the story's legacy. There are also numerous announcements for the exhibition at the USC Doheny Library that Nicholas Beck helped to organize in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the book's first publication, as well as numerous letters sent to Nicholas Beck thanking and congratulating him.
