The GH commercial photography subseries consists of photographs created by Hurrell, and print materials in which Hurrell’s photographs appeared. These consist of portraits created by Hurrell in his studio that employ his characteristic lighting; photographs taken by and of Hurrell during identified photo shoots, including a number for Paris Vogue; magazines and newspapers in which Hurrell’s photographs appeared; various commercial products that used Hurrell’s photographs, including calendars, brochures, appointment books, and printed ephemera; album covers; and photographs documenting Hurrell Productions.
