Scope and Content
Herbert G. Klein personal material photographs subseries contains black-and-white and color photographs and slides, 1937-2009, and undated, created and collected by Herbert G. Klein. Included are photographs of Klein taken during his high school years; during his naval service; with his family; with politicians, including Eisenhower, Goldwater, Finch, and George W. Bush; receiving awards; at events; candid shots; and with celebrities, including Bob Hope and Zsa Zsa Gabor. Also included are photographs of Klein's family; Nixon's funeral; the Phoenix Mars mission; publicity photographs of San Diego; autographed photographs of policitians and political friends, including Maurice Stans, Nixon, and George W. Bush; and photographs of a memorial service dedicated to Klein.
