Abstract

This small collection consists of annual reports issued by the City of Los Angeles Board of Social Service Commissioners, whose responsibilities lay in the regulation of fund raising for charitable uses. The reports contain statements of accounting, information about solicitation of funds, and summaries of the commission's actions. Present are the reports for 1939, 1940, and 1949-1969.
