William T. Bates papers
This small collection appears to have been the class notes of USC alumnus William T. ("Terry") Bates who attended the university between 1974 and 1977. Seven three-ring binders contain his handwritten notes, exam "blue books, and class syllabi for courses in English and American literature, drama, theatre, social psychology, and mathematics. Course instructors include Nina Foch, Richard Toscan, and R.S. Ross, among others.
Charles Bukowski papers
The collection includes Charles Bukowski's (1920-1994) original poetry and short stories, along with drafts of Women, Factotum, Ham on Rye, Post Office, and Barfly; screenplays based on Bukowski's fiction; periodical appearances; tape recordings; and ephemera.
Bob Wade papers
The Robert A. Wade papers document Wade's career writing noir mysteries with his partner H. BIll Miller (who died in 1961) until Wade's death in 2012. THe collection inculdes personal and business correspondence, diaries, first editions of their books, ledgers, typescripts, draft manuscripts, hand-corrected galley proofs, dust jackets, scrapbooks, magazines, newspaper clippings, notecards, and rejection and fan letters.
