Van Vleet papers contain laboratory and class notes from Van Vleet's studies in zoology and sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, 1916-1928, as well as journal articles sent to her from the University of Pennsylvania. Van Vleet worked as a high school science teacher in Los Angeles where she lived until her death in 1978.
