Abstract The Bill Einreinhofer China Archive comprises approximately 1,000 digital video, image, audio, and text files that Einreinhofer used to produce a series of public television documentaries covering modern China and Japan from 1910 to 2023. The collection includes the finished television programs, as well as unedited interviews and historic and scenic footage that were used in the documentaries. Scope and Contents

The original collection received in 2016 contained 3 VHS tapes, 44 Micro Audio Cassettes, and 117 Audio Casettes that were converted to three .mp4 video and 161 .mp3 audio files for access copies in the Digital Repository. Currently there are 164 oral history interviews with 65 veterans and Japanese Americans that lived on Maui during WWII.
