This collection contains the papers of American engineering professor C. J. Ancker. These papers include research, drafts, manuscripts, photograph negatives, correspondences, speeches, and journals related to his publications.

Scope and Contents The collection of Chinese posters consists of approximately 43 posters, including a few duplicates, advertising both Chinese and Western products. Many of the posters date from the 1920s and were printed in China by the Shanghai Commercial Press (Shanghai shang wu yin shu guan or 上海商务印书馆). A collection of six prints of the Oxford Almanack, published by the Oxford University Press between 1836-1894 and 1965. Each print features a calendar, an image, and lists of university offices, heads of colleges, and professors. The almanacs in this collection cover the following years: 1836, 1866, 1868, 1884, 1894 and 1965. Each print measures approximately 22 by 30.5 inches.
