Abstract
Howard Ralston was an alumnus of the University of Southern California (class of 1930) and part of a family acting troupe as a child. Born in Bar Harbor, Maine in 1904, Ralston's family traveled around the country before eventually settling in Hollywood, California, where young Ralston became a featured player for five years.
