The Allan Kaplan and Robert Kaplan political memorabilia collection consists of posters, ephemera, and realia documenting national and local political and campaigns. The bulk of the material dates from the late 1960s-early 1970s and documents the brothers' earliest political activism. The collection also includes later campaigns (from the 2000s) on which Robert was involved professionally.

This collection contains eighteen 1/4" reel audio tapes recorded by Kyeng Bo Kim (1883-1976) beginning around the late 1950s. The tapes have not been digitized, but appear to include recording of oral histories, family, business, and social events, and songs. There are also 43 color slide transparencies with images of the Kim family and awards and plaques.

Richard Lert papers

Abstract

This collection consists of Richard Lert’s video and audio recordings of performances, rehearsals and lectures, personal papers and his music score library. Lert was born in Vienna and trained as an orchestral conductor in Germany. He moved to the United States in 1932 with his family and was the conductor of the Pasadena Symphony Orchestra from 1932 until his retirement in 1972.

Based in Los Angeles, California, the Lewitzky Dance Company was formed in 1966 by Bella Lewitzky and gave its last performance on May 18, 1997. The archive consists of papers, films, photographs, costumes, programs, posters, stage plots, and sound recordings.
