The collection includes trade catalogs for heating sources, stoves, porcelain sinks, vacuums, "wear-ever" cookware, carpet sweepers, irons, wringers, and "ready to eat" food products; fliers for labor-saving laundry soap, and a dryer that dries without a wringer; a commercial laundry price list; and brochures.
Abstract Alphonzo Bell, Jr. (1914-2004) was a United States Congressman who represented the 27th and 28th Congressional Districts - which encompassed the communities of Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Bel Air, and West Los Angeles - between 1961 and 1977. Materials within the collection date from the 1930s to the 1980s and document Bell's political career.
Abstract Letters from Ambrose Bierce to a variety of correspondents, including Samuel Loveman, B.J.S. Cahill, and Burnette G. Haskell. The collection also includes copies of some of Bierce's contracts with Neale Publishing, and pamphlets advertising his "Collected Works."

Abstract The Yvonne Brathwaite Burke papers contain the records of the political activities of Yvonne Brathwaite Burke, University of Southern California Gould Law School alumna, state and federal legislator, and county official. Included are records from Burke's tenure in the California Assembly (1966-1972), U.S. Congress (1973-1978), and the Los Angeles Angeles County Board of Supervisor (1979-1980). Records also include her campaign for California State Attorney General (1978).

Overview The Robert Ignatius Burns papers contain three boxes of Burns' personal papers, four boxes of his collected manuscripts, and 21 boxes of his collected pamphlets. The manuscripts date between 1212 and 1608. The majority of the manuscripts originate from Spain and are written in Latin or Catalan, but one manuscript is from Rome. Robert Ignatius Burns (1921-2008) was a scholar of medieval history who taught at the University of San Francisco and the University of California Los Angeles.
