Abstract

The Sonny Bono papers consist of television scripts, production records, film reels, photographs, memorabilia, and personal materials belonging to musician and politician Sonny Bono. Also included are scripts from television programs produced by George Schlatter and written by his collaborators Allan Blye and Chris Bearde. Many of these programs featured Sonny & Cher as guest stars.

Abstract Music fanzines, fliers, writings, correspondence, clippings, photographs and other material, 1967-1994, from Craig Michael Lee, a music critic and openly-gay musician in Los Angeles-area punk bands during the late-1970s and 1980s. Abstract

Robert Sully was an actor and a designer. In addition to working for such well known firms as Raymond Loewy Associates, he also founded his own design firm, the Argonaut Company. He earned a Masters and Ph.D from Claremont Graduate School, and taught at UC Santa Barbara on advertising and culture. The papers include photographs, typescripts, interview transcripts, and letters for a planned photographic essay on concert artists.
