This collection consists of the book collection of Austrian American actor Joseph Schildkraut (1896-1964). Schildkraut acted in both theater and film, starting in Berlin. He is best known for playing Otto Frank in both the original stage play and film version of "The Diary of Anne Frank" (1959).

A musician and actress, she was a member of the Peter Merenblum California Junior Symphony and later appeared in a few motion pictures and acted on the stage.
