Abstract Mendel B. Silberberg was a Jewish communal leader and a prominent attorney in the motion picture industry. As a former president of the Los Angeles Jewish Community Council, Silberberg was active in the work of the United Jewish Appeal, the Joint Distribution Committee and the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
