This small collection documents some of the activities of the California Association of Homes for the Aging, a statewide assocation of nonprofit housing and health care providers representing the needs of the elderly. Included are manuals for legislative action, materials for board members outlining program priorities, bulletins and newsletters, papers and reports, and minutes of board meetings. The materials date from the period 1964 to 1977.

The collection contains two copies of each editorial written by Ms. Hyatt for the National Association of Social Workers California News beginning in September 2004.

Mina Kay Meyer was a feminist and activist who advocated for LGBTQ+ rights and worked to improve the understanding of and care for LGBTQ+ seniors and their needs.

The Meyer Papers contain a mix of personal and professional materials including personal and family records, documents from her activism work, photographs, correspondence, papers, presentations, and ephemera.
