Papers, letters, reports, board meeting minutes books and records which relate to the formation and management of the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera Association (LACLO) and the subsequent California Civic Light Opera Association formed by the merger of the LACLO and the San Francisco Civic Light Opera Association.

This portfolio/scrapbook of clippings and photographs was created by Catherine E. Sibley for completion of Drama 590B at the University of Southern California. It also includes her research paper discussing the staging of Max Reinhardt's production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Hollywood Bowl, the San Francisco Opera House, and UC Berkeley's Faculty Glade-Greek Theater during the 1934-1935 season.

Collection consists of photographs, clippings, and other writings about American theater producer Ralph Pincus, the Wigwam Theater, and the history of theater in San Francisco.
