Alphonzo Bell papers
Alphonzo Bell, Jr. (1914-2004) was a United States Congressman who represented the 27th and 28th Congressional Districts - which encompassed the communities of Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Bel Air, and West Los Angeles - between 1961 and 1977. Materials within the collection date from the 1930s to the 1980s and document Bell's political career.
California clippings collection
This collection of primarily California-related materials was the provenance of Mrs. Walter K. Towers, with some materials from Berenice Towers. Over the span of more than forty years, they saved clippings, magazines, small publications, maps, and other ephemera chiefly on California with an emphasis on Southern California.

EPIC News periodicals collection
This collection consists of 1936-1946 issues of writer, activist, and politician Upton Sinclair's (1878-1968) and the End Poverty League’s publication EPIC News.

This collection consists of The Film Daily newspaper publications, bound in book form. This publication ran from 1918 to 1970 and contained film industry news, film revisions, and union information.

This collection contains issues of "Praxis," a student publication initially printed by Students for a Democratic Society at the University of Southern California. The issues, dating from February 1968 to 1970, include original essays, poetry, and articles.
Right-wing political pamphlets collection
A collection of pamphlets, brochures, flyers, magazines, newspapers, and printed ephemera discussing various right-wing political topics, including anti-communist activities, the American Nazi Party and white supremacy, anti-semitism, racism, conservative economic policies, and religion. Also includes a few left wing publications.
Sons of the Desert collection
