Overview This artificial collection consists of 18th century prints that have been mounted on paper. The prints depict images of writers, and actors and actresses, many in costume, including David Garrick, Mrs. Jordan, Charles Bannister, Mrs. Woffington, Mrs. Oldfield, Nancy Dawson, Mrs. Clive, Nell Gwynn, Sarah Siddons, Richard Burbadge, and Samuel Johnson; London theaters, including the Globe and the Drury Lane; and scenes from plays.

Abstract In the fall of 2009, USC's Doheny Memorial Library held an exhibition of twenty framed works of art created by Victor Raphael and Clayton Spada, the artists being inspired by rare works from USC Libraries' Special Collections. When the exhibition was over, ten of the pieces were retained by the USC Fisher Museum of Art; the remaining ten became part of USC Libraries' Special Collections.
