The postcards are arranged geographically and cover such places as Los Angeles County, Orange County, the California Missions, Riverside County, the Mission Inn of Riverside, San Diego County, Imperial County, San Bernardino, mining towns, and other miscellaneous views and shots of people and places in and around California.

Abstract Letters and postcards from Corporal Art Harm to Connie (Vernacaleen) Conaway (Haught). Although primarily love letters, the letters and postcards also contain details about Corporal Harm's basic training at Fort Murphy, Florida. The letters begin in May 1943 and end in September 1943. Also included is a photograph of Corporal Harm, inscribed to Connie and dated June 22, 1943; a telegram; and a letter from Cyrus Lounsbury.
