This collection consists of the book collection of Austrian American actor Joseph Schildkraut (1896-1964). Schildkraut acted in both theater and film, starting in Berlin. He is best known for playing Otto Frank in both the original stage play and film version of "The Diary of Anne Frank" (1959).
