Sales and store inventory records of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender literature as well as bestseller information from A Different Light Bookstore in West Hollywood. Includes documentation of publishers, wholesalers and distributors as well as retail competitors from 1998-1999.

Photographs, event records, financial records, bankruptcy records, published books, catalogs, periodicals, postcards, clippings, correspondence, contracts, ephemera, book reviews, flyers, conference records, distribution records, and other administrative records of Clothespin Fever Press (CFP), 1981-2012. CFP was established in 1986 to publish "books that reflected the lesbian viewpoint, had literary and artistic merit and were written by a lesbian."

Materials created and collected by James (Jim) Morrow, including a photograph album, autograph books, and miscellaneous items from A Different Light Bookstore, in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles; organizational papers from institutions with which Morrow was associated (Emergence and the Alliance); bibliographical notes and article photocopies on GLBT youth and suicide; notes from self-defense workshops and a panel on hate crimes and gay-bashing; and personal items.

This collection documents Julia Willis’ career as a writer of books, plays, poetry, comedic writings, short stories, and newspaper columns. The bulk of the material dates from the 1990s and includes manuscripts, drafts, correspondence, scripts, notes, press material, photocopies of awards and recognitions, reviews, clippings, program and other papers.
