Gangway Suzie collection
Correspondence, award certificates, flyers, publicity photographs, and other material, 1976-1982, from Gangway Suzie, a bartender and camp drag performer at The Gangway bar in San Francisco, California. A local celebrity in the San Francisco drag queen community, Gangway Suzie, whose real name is Alfred Slezewski, was killed in 1982.

Menus from restaurants and bars, which presumably catered to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) clientele, circa 1960-2000. The majority of the restaurants represented in this collection were located in Los Angeles, California; others were located in San Francisco, New York City, and San Diego.
Pat Rocco photographs and papers
Photographs, scripts, programs, and related records documenting Pat Rocco's careers in radio, television, and theater; erotic photography; journalism; provider of emergency shelter for the homeless. Rocco was known for his charity, organizational, and collaborative work on behalf of gay and lesbian community in Southern California, primarily Los Angeles, and later in Hawaii. The bulk of the collection documents Rocco's life from 1970 through 1990.
