Abstract The bulk of the collection consists of the photograph albums of Matthew Schmidt and Albert Antunes (pseudonyms: Matthew and Buddy of Glendale). The early albums document the Los Angeles non-bar gay scene from the mid-1960s to mid-1970s, and contain many photographs of the elaborate costume parties the couple threw at their home.
