Dale Reynolds papers
Scope and Contents
The collection comprises correspondence, writings, audiocassettes, clippings, administrative records, contracts, publicity material, photographs, and other material, 1974-2011, from film and theater producer, actor, and writer Dale Reynolds. The collection includes documents related to film and theatrical productions that Reynolds produced; research material, recorded interviews, and manuscripts for Reynold's magazine articles and published book L.A. Scene; and administrative records for Triangle Square, Gay and Lesbian Elder Housing in Hollywood, California. The bulk of the audiocassettes are interviews Reynolds conducted with actors, film directors, and other personalities, and were used for research on magazine articles he wrote covering the entertainment industry.

Biographical / Historical
Arthur Dale Reynolds IV was born in Santa Ana, California on February 9, 1944. Reynolds served in the United States Navy and attended US International University in San Diego, California. He worked as a development assistant for Zelda Rubinstein before working as a producer and actor in film and the Los Angeles theater community. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Reynolds also wrote articles on the entertainment industry for numerous gay and lesbian magazines. In 1982, he co-founded the Alliance for Gay and Lesbian Artists in the Entertainment Industry. As of 2015, Reynolds is a resident of Triangle Square, Gay and Lesbian Elder Housing in Hollywood, California.
