Administrative History

"The Riverside Coalition Against Discrimination (RCAD) is a coalition of concerned citizens who are committed to affirming equality for all people. RCAD was organized as a [political action committee] in the State of California in January 1991, and was registered with the Fair Political Practices Commission. RCAD was organized to counter the threat imposed by individuals and organizations in Riverside who seek to repeal the city's AIDS anti-discrimination ordinance and bar the city council from enacting any future city policy or ordinance which would prohibit discrimination based upon sexual orientation or AIDS."
