This series, 1936-2009, comprises clippings, newsletters, employment records, financial records, Hollywood trade magazines, school records, travel-related papers, and other material documenting Ben's daily life and personal interests. Papers document Ben's participation in gay and lesbian organizations; her education and training in music; her employment history in Hollywood studios; and her passion for adopting cats.
