Motion picture history and photograph files, circa 1920-1994
Scope and Contents
This series comprises publicity still photographs, negatives, slides, clippings, and other research material on American film history, particularly silent- and studio-era actors, collected by William Moritz. The bulk of the series is publicity stills of numerous entertainers, as well as research material on silent film actress Jetta Goudal and director Dudley Murphy.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open to researchers. The original films in this collection are deposited in conjunction with the Outfest Legacy Project at the UCLA Film and Television Archive. Advance notice is required for researchers wishing to access these materials.
