Scope and Contents
Bylaws, minutes, agenda, correspondence, program schedule flyers, publicity material, notes, clippings, project proposals, financial records, surveys, membership rosters, photographs, a button, banners, and other material, 1970-2011, from IMRU Radio. Materials document the early years of IMRU when it was governed by the all-volunteer Gay Radio Collective, through the 1990s when it operated under the auspices of the non-profit organization Overnight Productions. This series includes correspondence sent to IMRU from listeners, meeting minutes from the Gay Radio Collective, and flyers for IMRU's program schedule dating back to 1974 when it was known by its previous moniker, The Great Gay Radio Conspiracy. Also included are flyers and other publicity materials for various LGBT organizations, events, and announcements that were likely sent to IMRU for promotional purposes.
