Series Description

This series comprises sheet music, lyrics, scripts, copyright documents, notes, correspondence, clippings, research material, newsletters, and other material, 1940-1999, from writer and composer Gale Hunt. The bulk of this series pertains to Hunt's original musical, A San Francisco Sunday (also known as Lucky Sunday), written under the pseudonym "Gary Borden Hall" and which he attempted to have produced in the 1990s. Also included is sheet music for Hunt's original songs published by Pictorial Songs during the 1940s and 1950s; as well as notes and research materials for music inspired by the transgender magazine, Dragazine. Note that sound recordings for Hunt's music is in the Sound Recordings Series.
