Series Description
This series includes correspondence, Lisa Kaye's arrest record, legislation and election campaign documents, event and conference materials, subject files, newsletters, awards, publicity material, a VHS videocassette, and other material, 1975-1996, from the numerous organizations, campaigns and committees in which Kaye was involved. Materials document Kaye's work in the campaigns against Proposition 6 (1978), Proposition 64 (1986), and Proposition 102 (1988); and the campaign supporting Assembly Bill 101 (1991). Documents show Kaye's involvement with the Gay and Lesbian Community Services Center of Orange County, the LIFE AIDS Lobby, the Whitman-Brooks Foundation and several other organizations, including Jewish and women's groups.
