Scope and Contents
This series contains clippings and activist ephemera maintained by Silverthorn. Along with Beth Chayim Chadashim, Gay Jews Conference, and Simon Wiesenthal Center information, AIDS Project Los Angeles and Department of Health and Human Services correspondence are included along with research and correspondence for his Segel/Siegal family tree project. Noteworthy is his journal entitled “I Will Get into the Movies” written between 1978-1979.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open to researchers. The original reels of film in this collection (Series 5) are deposited in conjunction with the Outfest Legacy Project at the UCLA Film & Television Archive. Advance notice is required for researchers wishing to access the films.
