Scope and Contents
This series, circa 1920-1995, includes photographic prints, negatives, and slides of Dickmann's childhood family and friends; life in the Air Force; theater and drag events in San Francisco in the 1960s and 1970s; celebrity and Hollywood industry events in Los Angeles in the 1980s and 1990s; travel throughout the United States, especially Hawaii; and activist and community cultural events such as gay pride parades, Super-Men pageants, AIDS-related fundraisers, and various Hawaiian festivals.
