The Marjorie Rushforth papers consist of a limited number of records including budgets, correspondence, fliers, and mailing lists from the Friends of the EAGLES Center, a continuation school of the Los Angeles Unified School District options program, Emphasizing Adolescent Gay/Lesbian Education Services (EAGLES). The EAGLES Center was founded to provide an optimal learning environment for gay and lesbian youth to obtain a high school diploma. The collection also includes correpondence and limited records on the representation of Morris Kight concerning his residence at 1447 North Martel Avenue, Los Angeles and the lawsuit brought by the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center to remove Kight from the properties. A limited personal correspondence file that includes a list of expenses from a trip to Italy and photocopies of reference materials from journals on advertising, media, and sex complete the collection.
