This series comprises organizational records, minutes, correspondence, clippings, notes, publicity flyers, and other material documenting the (primarily gay and lesbian) organizations and events in which Berzon was involved. In particular, these materials document her active participation and advocacy work for organizations including the Gay Academic Union, Gay Community Services Center, Lambda Literary Foundation, National Gay Rights Advocates, and the Whitman-Radclyffe Foundation.
